Lizz Howe is a full time artist and mother in scenic Trempealeau, Wisconsin. Originally from Milwaukee where she studied under Pamela Mierow and at Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, she moved to La Crosse in 2011 and fell in love with the local scenery. Lizz specializes in chalk pastel portraits and landscapes. She draws her inspiration from the stunning Trempealeau bluffs, surrounding farms, and the Mississippi River. She is passionate about maintaining and enjoying the area's natural beauty and loves to be outdoors with her family as much as possible kayaking, running, hiking, or just enjoying a glass of wine. Lizz has recently published her first children's book entitled Handy Howie. It is available for sale in paperback and in ebook format.
